The current environment nationally and internationally presents a number of challenges to community relations and interfaith harmony between different faiths.  We are strong supporters of the positive work that the Inter Faith Network (IFN) has done – as a national interfaith body which is overwhelmingly funded by the British taxpayer. The current national and international environment presents a number of challenges to community relations and harmony between different faiths. We therefore ask for your assistance, and invite you to bring your ideas and your questions to a meeting  about how the challenges our changing world presents can best be met. • I am a Quaker and the Labour Party PPC for Bromley and Chislehurst.

I’d like to attend your meeting on 17 March – in a personal capacity: I have particular experience in ecumenical and interfaith affairs – especially as they relate to the promotion of the key policy for peace: income/economic equality.

    For all, the best, equally

    • Hi John

Thanks for your reply. I have passed it on to our Secretary who will contact you with registration details for the meeting.

I am currently requesting personal contributions from people of different faiths on the subject of mutual respect between religions – for example how in your view Quakerism would support such respect. If you are moved to write an article I would be very happy to receive it. The suggested length is between 300 and 1000 words.

      With best regards
      Mike Garside
      Editor
